I paint with a palette knife producing a textured result that cannot be achieved with a brush alone. You will receive not just a reproduction of your photo but an impressionist painting with creative depth, movement and texture by an award-winning artist.

All you have to do:

Provide an image taken outdoors in bright conditions.

What I do:

− After assessing each photograph and discussing the best composition with you, I start working on a canvas enlargement.
− I will carefully finish your portrait using archival oil paints and the richness of texture applied with a palette knife that requires a high level of skill.
− Artist's signature
− The end result is your own truly original oil-on-canvas work of art to hand down from generation to generation.

The sizes listed above are guide only. Select the size most appropriate to your space and I will custom make the canvas close to this size. Please note, it is most important is to proportion the canvas to the subject matter rather than adapting a painting to a standard canvas size. Even if the canvas becomes a little larger than the listed size, the price will remain the same.

If you would like a canvas size larger than the XXLarge size, please request a custom order and I will provide you with a quote.

Every canvas portrait comes stretched on a high quality kiln-dried hardwood frame ready to frame to your own taste.

Framing service is available upon request; please contact for quotes.

The lead time is 3- 8 weeks from order to shipping and 8 - 12 weeks when multiple paintings are ordered. Lead times are best estimate only.

Refund policy on custom paintings:
I will provide you with an image prior to shipping for approval. I always strive for 100% satisfaction prior to shipment of your painting.
If you are unhappy with the image of the painting prior to shipping and a resolution cannot be found, I will refund 60% of the purchase price. 40% is non-refundable to cover material costs and some of the labour.
